    Had a nice time there was very quiet when we went, just the way he likes it. We ended up following one of the keepers round the place 4 a bit, to watch him feeding the animals, the lemurs were great to watch, spent ages in the tropical house trying to find the sloth, not a pigging chance!! We watched the show in the barn, that was really well set out for the animals, they would come out either side of the stage from a little hole that they would open. The barn owl was absolutely beautiful she must of been inches away from my head when flew over to the back and front again. Then she did it again but was inches from my partners head this time. They had some great animals in the show. We was there first thing 10am with no kids so got round pretty quick shows don't start till 11am so we only watched a few. Obviously it would take longer with kids and there are plenty of seating areas for a pack up or there is a cafe. Very nice place, clean and tidy. It's not massive but someone is trying to do a good thing for the world. I did find it a little strange that the tiger enclosure was opposite a deer enclosure a meter or so away, the tiger was just pacing the fence there.

    Only a small animal park (on the scale of Animal Parks across the country), but none the worse for that. Once you pay to get in, to be greeted by the chirping of the Otters, what more do you need to know. The animals all look well treated and, although the site is compact, there is plenty to see if you take a leisurely stroll around the site. Just a note for the photographer - although there are building works in progress, some of the cages are still of the wire mesh type - not the biggest obstacle to overcome, but worth baring in mind. Would I recommend it? The biggest recommendation I can make is, when have the chance, we shall be bringing our God Son's back for a look.
