    Brilliant location, just at the rear of the castle. Staff were really lovely too. We stayed in the suite, which was well priced, with plenty of space, however like much of the rest of the hotel, is very much in need of a refurb, and missing many of the mod cons you'd expect in a hotel these days (there was a CD player with no kind of aux out provided, however it may as well have been a gramophone, given how few people carry CDs with them in this day and age!). That said, the bed was huge, and very comfortable. All in all, it offered very good value for money, and a great location, so four stars from me.

    Attended a wedding which we could barely fault. The bar however was over priced with a poor selection and no ales. Around 7 young bar staff just stood around chatting and didn't know how to do their jobs. Canapes were average and how can a hotel not serve lattes?
